TANIA RODRIGUES_Jan19-pic 1.jpg

Tania Rodrigues is a London based actor and voice artist.

She brings a unique cultural perspective to her work - coming from a family with roots in India, Portugal and Britain; she grew up in Hong Kong, and has since lived in both the UK and USA.

She is passionate about the power of 'the story' to change people's perspectives by giving them a chance to see the world from someone else's eyes.

She trained at The Drama Studio in London, having completed a BA Hons degree in English and Drama. She has always had a passion for reading, and has narrated many award-winning audiobooks including Booker Prize Winners 'The Inheritance of Loss' by Kiran Desai and 2011 Waterstone Prize Winner 'Artichoke Hearts' by Sita Bramachari.

In the corporate world, working as an actor and a facilitator, she sees first hand how swiftly and profoundly drama can make people examine their own preconceptions, change their behaviour. and build their confidence. She has been especially lucky to teach a drama training program for blind adults in San Francisco, where she was constantly inspired by the participants' courage and determination.
